CCMS pilots start

Spike & FACSIA have commenced pilots in five South Australian childcare centres. These are parallel trials, where services run the new system along side their existing systems enabling comparisons with real world data.

First off the block was Margaret Ives Community Childrens Center when on Wednesday 5th December their Spike 2 database was exported into the new system. This automatically created children, parents, accounts, bookings, groups and service details. Margaret Ives had previously installed the latest "CCMS ready" version of spike 2 and collected the birth dates of the CCB registered parents required to claim CCB under the new system.

Once the data was imported the new spike 3 system automatically registered the CCMS eligible children and parents , and they have already billed their first week under both spike 2 & the new system.

Hot on the heels of the Margaret Ives successes four more centres have joined the trials. This week their data has been exported & the CCMS details registered with FACSIA. Their first bill run will be Monday. ...
